1. Site Preparation

Clear the installation area of obstacles (debris, vegetation, or rocks) to avoid interference with equipment. Ensure the surface is level, as uneven ground can disrupt alignment. Excavate soil to the depth specified in the project design, tailored to the sheet pile length and soil conditions.

2. Sheet Pile Driving

Position the first PVC sheet pile at the designated starting point. Use a pile driver or suitable equipment to drive it into the ground—methods include vibrating (ideal for loose soils), pressing (for dense/sensitive soils), or hammering (for hard layers, using low-impact tools to prevent PVC damage). Continue until the pile reaches the required depth.

3. Interlocking

Once the first pile is set, align subsequent sheet piles using their interlocking mechanisms. These interlocks are engineered to create a secure, watertight seal. Ensure full engagement between adjacent piles to prevent gaps or leaks.

4. Driving and Alignment

Proceed to drive each subsequent PVC sheet pile individually, maintaining proper interlocking with the previous one. Use a spirit level (for short sections) or laser level (for longer runs) to check verticality and alignment—consistent positioning prevents structural weaknesses.

5. Cutting and Trimming

If needed, cut or trim sheet piles to the exact length using appropriate tools (e.g., PVC cutters or fine-tooth saws). Ensure cut edges are smooth and free of deformities to preserve interlock functionality and waterproofing.

6. Anchoring

Depending on project specs and soil stability, install anchoring or bracing (e.g., anchor rods, tiebacks, or braces) to stabilize the sheet pile wall. This prevents lateral movement, especially in tall walls or soft soil conditions.
